What is a Hexafold? A Hexafold Book is a wondrous creation that unveils pages in six directions. Janie has crafted straightforward instructions to guide you in creating this delightful tome*, inviting you to explore medieval inspirations while mastering a treasure trove of techniques along the way. The final masterpiece will have a cover size of A6, making it a charming mini version of Janie’s earlier Hexafold endeavours—ideal for stashing pocket secrets and whispers of magic.
*You will need to prepare papers ahead of time. Janie will contact you ahead of time with instructions for this.
Country House Craft Studio takes great pride in delivering a friendly and relaxed high-quality experience. You will leave with wonderful memories and new crafty friends.
We limit spaces to between 5-10 people allowing us to deliver a personalised experience where everyone gets the tutoring and guidance they require.
We aim to cater to all and have had amazing feedback from past attendees who keep returning to the fantastic venue with us. (If you have any specific needs, please do not hesitate to contact Janie before booking to ensure you are happy with our service)

Magical Hexafold Book Day Retreat
The Day Retreat will be held on 17th May 2025 and will be packed full of fun and creative friendships.
The retreat will be held at Country House Craft Studio, Hurds Hill, Langport, Somerset, TA10 0ND.
The day will run from 10am-5pm with lunch and refreshment breaks.
Your package will include Tuition, lunch, refreshments all required materials, use of neccasary tools and exclusive use of the Country House included in the price. You will be required to prepare som Tea stained paper before the day to use for your pages.
The house has an eclectic feel that will get your imagination flowing.
The retreat has disabled access, if you require any specific support, please inform us before booking.
Please inform us with a note on your order if you have any dietary requirements to ensure we have enough choice to suit everybody’s needs.
If you are left handed, please let us know so we have the correct tools for you to use.
Your booking is secured with deposit or full payment, refunds can not be garanteed unless Janie's Originals or Hurds Hill need to cancel the event for unforseen circumstances. If you pay a deposit full payment will be requested via invoice to be cleared by May 3rd.
