The Explorers Folio range is a beautiful way to create a folded folio with a vintage feel. The imagining behind Janie’s design of these pocket sized folios is to conjure up the idea of the intrepid explorer documenting their finds along their journey. Use your own imagination combined with a little inspiration from Janie to create your own tactile and beautifully decorated folio.
The Curious Beasts Folio Has been developed from beautiful antique illustrations from 1752 that have been updated and printed on to newsprint paper to give a book page feel and an aged effect to the pages. Labels and apertures allow you to create specimen style ephemera.
Features and Benefits:
All elements are handpicked or created by Janie to allow you to build your own folio that can build part of a collection with other designs in the future.
Only basic craft supplies needed to complete your project.
Full folding instructions are included with links to online mini tutorials for further inspiration.
Supplies you will need are scissors/craft knife, glue, pencil, ruler and a bone folder if you have one.
You may also want to use a walnut stain distress ink pad (or similar) to age paper edges.
