This detailed Owl sits in front of a mixed media background of collage and acrylic paint. The freedom with which the background was painted highlights the fine detail in the Owl. Using a very fine brush Janie  spent a great deal of time building up the individual feathers to produce a striking portrait of this Little Owl.
