Join us from August 8th to 10th to be Immersed in the gorgeous Country House experience, we will be creating a range of creative book projects ovwer the weekend within a small group of like minded crafters. You will learn many binding techniques that can be transferred to a wide range of your own book making projects at home. All materials and use of tools are included in the amazing price!
We will also be joined by special guest Rebekka from Bekbek Makes to deliver a wonderful resin project.
Country House Craft Studio takes a great pride in delivering a friendly and relaxed high-quality experience. You will leave with wonderful memories and new crafty friends.
We limit residential spaces to 15 people and non-residential to just 2, allowing us to deliver a personalised experience where everyone gets the tutoring and guidance they require.

Craft Bookbinding residential Retreat
The Retreat will be held on 8th-10th August 2025 and will be packed full of fun and creative friendships. You will create a variety of creative book projects with Janie plus a resin project as an extra crafty session for residents.
The retreat will be held at Country House Craft Studio, Hurds Hill, Langport, Somerset, TA10 0ND.
Sessions will run from 10am-5pm Saturday and 11-5pm Sunday with lunch and refreshment breaks.
There will be a stunning shared platter lunch both days.
If you choose the residential package, you will get breakfast, lunch, tea/coffee and 3 course dinner all included in the price.
If you choose non-residential your package will include lunch, refreshments and tea/ coffee included in the price.
The price includes all materials needed, full tuition, and use of required tools. There will be free parking on site.
We will have the whole country house to ourselves for the full weekend. There are plenty of little nooks to sit peacefully and unwind, including three libraries! There are fantastic views and a lovely walk around the garden. The house has an eclectic feel that will get your imagination flowing.
The retreat has disabled access, including 1 ground floor bedroom with disabled access and a wet room. If you require any specific support, please inform us before booking.
We will ask before the retreat if you have any dietary requirements to ensure we have enough choice to suit everybody’s needs.
Your booking is secured with a £50pp deposit, followed by arranged payment to clear the total balance by July 25th.
